The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

I'm so sorry willow. :*( I've had a couple scares with a couple of my family members, but they were able to treat it since they caught it early enough. Even that was so stressful and mind boggling. I can't imagine what it's like to watch cancer take a life away from you. I hope I never have to deal with that... My mom smokes constantly, she's been smoking since she was 18 and I keep telling her to quit but she says "Well I'm going to die of something".

I had a great aunt who smoked and she got emphysema. She literally smothered to death because she couldn't breathe. She was on oxygen and would take off her oxygen and go outside and smoke. People would ask her why she wouldn't stop smoking. She said she loved her cigarettes too much to give them up.

Yeah, I don't get it, but I've never smoked before so I wouldn't get it.lol I guess it's just a big stress releaser, but I would rather do it the safe way than kill myself doing it.

I had almost forgotten but we lost another friend a few years ago to lung cancer...and the man never smoked in his life!! He used to help me with my computer and hooked up a new one for me on Christmas eve 5 years ago.

thank you. :)
i used to smoke years ago,i was able to stop thankfully.
shame mom thinks like that sort of,yeah we all gotta go,but
that's one way out i'd rather not have.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

More than a stress reliever it's an addiction and a pretty powerful one at that. I once had a friend who while in Vietnam became addicted to heroin and smoking. He said giving up the heroin was easier than giving up smoking.

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

I lost my mom to cancer when I was 17 and a Senior in High School. It changed my life. I went from a carefree teenager to a responsible grown up over night. I would never wish cancer on anyone. It's a horrible disease that no one should ever have to experience. God bless all those we have lost.
