I can see the appeal of that game, I really can. I played a lot of Freelancer back in the day, though that's not really an MMO. I tried EVE online once because I thought it would be like an MMO version of Freelancer and just couldn't handle it. So...many...progress bars! It seemed like more of an asteroid mining simulator than a space combat simulator. My brother plays it, I think.
Besides, I should stay far away from MMO's. I was a World of Warcraft addict for about 15 months starting at the beginning of summer 2005 until the end of summer 2006. Funny thing is, MMO's are addictive but "regular" people (i.e. non-gamers) won't usually touch them because of the stigma attached to them or whatever, but then they'll go and spend just as much time playing Farmville on Facebook. If you're going to spend all of your time playing a video game, at least make it a decent one!
