Everything started falling apart for me when I turned 40. I spent my 40th birthday having arthoscopic knee surgery. Here I am, a few weeks from turning 50 and my knees are still bad, I have other aches and pains and I'm diabetic. Bleh!

Lupin.... NEVER propose by a "date" or "deadline" . You might as well plan the divorce at the same time too.
Propose when that relationship is like none other you have experienced and you "know" this is the right person. Cause when it's right... you "KNOW". And if you have to ask yourself if it's right?... then it is not the right one.
I would say JMO but I think everyone in here will agree with me.

Dramaqueen I hear ya!! It's awful hot in my world, I have no energy, I can't remember where I put stuff or where I was going, and nothing seems to be in the same place it used to be. But the kids are off to college and I have the freedom to do what I want, watch MY TV. (Took a bit to get over the empty nest syndrome, I think that's exactly when I found TFK, last October) I text the kids..."I have baby Mollies!!" and I get back... "Ya ok Mom". lol which is directly interpretted as "get a life". lol.
So I need you fish crazy friends. Thank you all.

Wow, suddenly realising I was WAY off with the ages I had assumed to most people here.

I've seen lupin on other sites... and the moderators in general, I (for some reason) viewed them as older... Or my age- 27..
I never would have guessed 1077's age either... Thought 1077 was closer to lupin's age. I don't know why, and I hope neither of you take offense.

Also funny that we got way off topic, and that's sort of the charm here...

@ Lupin, I agree with what everyone else has said. I always had thought that by my age of 31 I would be married and have kids already. LOL of course that hasn't happened yet, within the past year I have met a wonderful man that I have been seeing for the past eight months, but at this time marriage is still not in the picture and children definilty not. Before anyone tells me that children are still possible, it is but not likely, if things continue to progress we probably would not have kids with him being 48, at this time having additional children is not likely. For me with still trying to complete schooling I don't want to start a family while trying to go to school, which will take I am guessing around another 6 years at the rate I am going, and after I would want to get a few years in before thinking about kids. By then would put me near 40 which for me starts to get beyond when I would want to start a family. But then who knows things could always change. Okay I have rambled enough for now

Thanks, planning on working on getting my nursing degree. Actually have been planning on doing that for the last four years, but life happens. Been working as a certified nurses aide for the past four years now, and it is getting time to let the younger people do the heavy lifting and moving. Eventually I'll get there
