I apologize.

I wish to apologize to Spidykat and the entire community for my sarcastic remark in the Albino Tiger Help thread. It was uncalled for.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and wonderful holiday.

Hey fmonger, It's very nice / big of you to post this . But when I read it I got curious and went back to the barb thread , The one that started that post spidy whatever was rude to everyone that commented he completely ignored what he was told /advised and carried on with his personal lil fit .
Wanting to be told what he wanted to hear not what was. And then was just plain ole kiddie about it all .
He should be the one making a post apologizing . But banned is better .
Just wanted to say that , But it says alot for you that you did apologize to everyone ..your awsome .
This is another reason why I like this site the members ( self -included ) really do want / try to help ppl with real opinions an educated advice from experiance. For what its worth ..thanks for all the help from everyone that has received it

I agree completely, and for the record, I thought fish monger was hilarious and not out of line. That was the SECOND thread that person started, and they both went the same way, and got locked.

I've started some bonehead threads but none that deteriorated enough to get locked. My Dream Aquarium thread is up to 1000 posts, and I have gotten countless pieces of advice, and it NEVER got adversarial. ~~edited~~

That person's first thread was what motivated me to post this thread:

http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/o...-youre-122456/

Which is probably the closest I've come to a thread that deserved to get locked, but it actually garnered a lot more empathy than I anticipated. I actually felt half bad 20 minutes after I posted it, but we can't delete posts. BUT, when that person did the EXACT same thing again, I felt vindicated.

When I saw fish monger offered advice in the second thread, I PM'd him and said I was surprised he bothered after how it went the first time. He said we'll see how it goes. Haha. It went.

There are lots of people on here who ask for advice but aren't really looking for it, but that person was one of the ruder and more confrontational ones.

You just can't help some people. Common theme of both threads, person asks for help with a problem, people offer advice, person doesn't like the advice, person says it's not like there is a problem. Um... what?

hey
i'm not sure if we have a language filter on this forum or not,but yes if
you could edit that remark that would be very nice of you

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Can't edit our own posts after 20 minutes. Seriously? I was just kidding, I didn't think it was actually that bad, lol.

Report it if you're that sensitive, a mod will delete it or edit it, I'm sure. Click the little triangle with the exclamation mark.

Olympia, if you're subscribed to this thread, can you delete my last post?
