Nice, Kym. What kind of filter?

Peppermint Shrimp will definately add a great touch...Eww just imagine if you add a green eel or green chromis..lol..so Christmasy
Doesn't it, though? I get excited just visiting the LFS. I actually have a blue/green chromis, but it's much more blue than green.

Yep, I'd say 105% of what I make goes towards fish this season. Setting up 2 55g tanks, Ouch.
Nice, small fry.

It's the Fluval XF5. I have always read bad reviews on Fluvals but I have the 405 on my 75gl and it works great. It's also extremely quiet, which is important since the 75 sits in my bedroom.
Wade's going to help me set it up today and I'm excited. It'll be replacing my Marineland Magnum 250, which is a huge upgrade.

THe only thing I 'asked' for fish related is a subscription to Tropical Fish Hobbyist. However if hubby is smart, I'll be opening one fish item after another (And he better get something for the puppy, too!) haha

Hey, you got a puppy for Christmas! Anything else is just icing, right??

(Yes, he did miss me. Why else would he offer to help me do something "fish related"?? )

Oh HECK no!! But only because I'm maxed out for space at the moment.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Yeah. Super exciting 55 watt power compact light bulbs hopefully. I specifically gave them the exact ones I needed. This Christmas is not a lot of stuff a want, just things I need. My car is being really expensive this year. Needed new tires a month ago and am still waiting hoping to at least find the ones I want on sale somewhere .

.... I'm probably drunk.

This is how I lurk

I got a surprise present - platy babies. I saw a baby the other day and then couldn't spot him again so thought he must have been eaten, but I saw him again last night and today I saw two swim past.
