I had seen minis for years before I ever wanted one. The ones I saw were "cute" but didn't do it for me. Then I saw one I thought looked like "a real horse" and his owner (my riding instructor at the time) let me hook him up and drive him. That was it -- I wanted a mini of my own. Still, I never thought getting into minis I'd like them as much as riding horses but over time, they did become my favorite type of horse and by a long shot :)

the mare produced a palomion tb filly that sold at keeneland for $14,000 last year!
