Oh you know what (I mean you prop already knew this but)...I called around the normal human pharmacy's today (Maxx Humilin is $92 at Vet) and the places in town charge anywhere's from 40-55 bucks for it...Quite a difference - And I need no script ; needless to say in a few months when this bottle is used up I will go to town rather then the Vet for supply (which is closer drive anyway for me). Makes me wonder if I should check wherever to see about his DCO food as well.....

We all know what that extra money can go towards

Mollie, I am very impressed with your knowledge. It's nice to see a member be able to help another member with something other than what this forum was made for. Especially for such a fluffy cutie like Maxx

you mean my shopping addition?
It is REALLY nice indeed to have someone to talk to about Maxx that knows what they're talking about. And personally I find it VERY helpful to get more then just my Vet's opinion's on matters too.

you could check into petfooddirect.com. and....petsmart sells a lot of prescription diets, you just need a written script from your vet

HIs 18lbs bag there is actually $3 plus whatever shipping may be more; so getting it online would be pointless.

Thank God you said petsmart - I will check with Tractor supply in town too cause 1) They have a bunch meds obviously for the farmers 2) They're contracted with Purina so maybe they can order it for me too
At least worth while checking (any place in town is a far closer drive then the Vet for me!)
