Help with wild fishy identification? :)

I posted this over in the bettafish.com lounge but I thought I'd try over here as well. Does anyone know what these fish are? I have a creek behind my house that dumps into a lake. The lake is stocked with trout for fishing every year but I don't know what else is in there. To me they look like carp of some kind. At any rate, in the 5 years I've lived here I've never seen them in the creek.

We had a lot of rain and the creek rose pretty high. When it went back down, these guys were here. On the lake end there's a pipe that cuts off the lake when the water's low so they're pretty much stuck here. If they're creek fish, I don't want to move them, but if they belong in the lake I could rehome them. They stay together for the most part. They're about 9 inches long I'd say?

Could be small Grass Carp

That's what I was thinking. Young ones maybe? I have a couple more pics and a video. We're supposed to have rain this weekend and I'm hoping they get washed back into the lake. There really isn't enough vegetation here to support them. When I first saw them I thought they were Koi someone dumped here.

Could be a grass carp but doesn't look like it has the scales of a carp. hard to tell from the pictures though.

They definitely don't have big silvery scales like most of the grass carp pics I saw. I guess that's why I was lookin' for a second opinion. They have freckles here and there. I'm still wondering if they washed out of someone's pond in the flooding.

Here's the best pic I have of their scales. I tried to get a closeup.
