Help Needed -- Emergency!!!!

I am not a PETA freak, but I do love dogs.

Our A-hole city and county officials are building a new facility. However, they are not taking many animals with them to the new site. I received an email from some local pals here. Please click on the link provided. If you have any contacts that could help please pass the link along.

We have taken many cats in already and have no room for many more pets. I do imagine that when push comes to shove we will do what we can. The better half broke down crying and got madder than I have ever seen her. I just got out of the way. I don't think I have ever made her THAT angry, even when I tried.

So, please, make an effort here. If you know of any rescues near you that may be able to help, contact them and provide them with the above link.

I hope that I do not see any comments on how horrible this situation is. We can see that it could be a travesty and a horror. Take the time you would spend posting your reply and contact someone!!!!!!!

I have contacted six TV stations and two rescue groups. Anyone else making any headway?

All of ours around here have their hands full finding homes for all the animals that seem to pour out of the Heights...

This is the song that never ends...

I've got it placed with a couple of groups on ASPCA as well.

Even though it is the same planet, underwater is a whole different world.

Some good news. Some of the dogs have been placed. The TV stations have run a segment on their broadcast. I will bump them again to get the message out to all in the area how ridiculous and cruel our city fathers are.

Don't give up now. Be a pinching bug in their shorts. Bug your contacts again, they are the ones with the power to make something happen.

By the way, the reason for not transferring the animals was that the animals have been "contaminated". I wonder what that means? The pets are healthy enough to be adopted into our homes, but not healthy enough to be kept in a pound? You can tell that politicians are at work here, the answer doesn't make sense and reeks of BS.

Keep pushing, folks, the day of reckoning for these pets is getting nearer.
