Guess what happened to me?

I found a dead/drowned RAT in my outdoor pond this morning.

And to make matters worse - I was running late, so the poor thing had to stay in there all day long.... YUCKY!

Someone told me to get driftwood so if they fall in they can get out... but my first thought was - better put rat traps out in the garage!

Poor little rat. :(

Yuck though. A dead rat wouldn't last long around here, my cats would devour it. LOL

we had a bad bad bad rat problem here for the past 4 years. they would come during the summer and eat off our apple and pear trees. Sooooo gross. they made a HUGE MESS on our deck evernight because they don't eat the skin (lol) not to mention there poo and pee everywhere. thankfully they never got there way in the house.

Every summer we caught over 60 rats in those heavy duty reusable snap traps. We also had bait boxes full of poison staked around the outside of the house. Finally a few weeks ago we got the trees cut down so hopefully they don't come back to our house this summer.

Eeeeeewwwww!! Thanks for NOT posting a picture :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
