Good Cameras?

I want to get a bit into photography so I wanted to ask what's a good "Professional" camera?

yah i agree with hayrobet, Nikons and Canon's are the best looked upon. I personally have the Nikon D300. But a great beginer camera would be the D5000 or the D3000

Funny you ask this. I was looking at cameras last night. I'm thinking the same thing as you about getting in to photography. I looked at the "entery level" DSLR and I seem to come away thinking the Nikon D3000 is the way to go. For more money the D5000 is a more feature packed camera vs the D3000 but it doesn't have a lot over the D3000
