The world is in a constant state of change. The earth went through a major cool down less than a millenium ago. Colorado used to have redwood forests.

it's bad,and more will suffer for it.
:(

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Global warming is called that because it's global... and it doesn't mean everyone gets slightly more cozy temps. It means everything is MESSED UP.

In MI I swear, it's had the opposite effect, the winter's were getting worse and worse, (It's the '02 Storm, it's the White '03, it's Deep Freeze '04, I swear the news station had a name for every year because it was just as bad as the previous, which thought it was the worst before that.) I got myself out of there and I haven't been back for one winter yet! (April ice storms?! Come on!)

Besides, if you agree with some thought that the global warming is raising the temps of the oceans and causing the record hurricanes recently - then definitely no, no, global warming is NOT good.

Still searching for answers.

We get to find baby seals here along the coast line. They appear to be dislocated by the fact that the ice where they are supposed to be starting their lives is disappearing. So their habitat is being destroyed too. People pick them up and bring them to the zoo. They raise them and let them free again. But what happens when they too have babies?

We can easily adapt to temperatures but other creatures won't.
