I only like when I second advice given or am pleased with another persons post. I thank on rare occassion for detailed, accurate advice.

Some people are obsessed with it. I like or thank once in awhile.

Its the inability to avoid getting notifications about likes that makes me despise it.

I rarely use the like button... unless my intentions are to abuse it.

I wonder if they have as many problems as we do.

Well you'd have to look back, see how many times this or most any site was screwed up in the last year. The bigger & more complex the site, the more a likelihood for an issue to occur. If you call this site average size over all they own, and it's goofed up once a year, on any given day they may have one, maybe 2 sites that need help. Bigger sites mean more revenue, and will probably get attention first, opposite for the smaller sites.

A business with 400 units expects some to be down at any given time, part of business. 400 trucks, 400 rental units, it's all the same. If you had a tank with 400 fish and one was slightly screwy you might not even notice, unless it was a larger, more important fish. Think of it on the level of 400 tanks of fish, with one tank slightly off, and you having a crew of employees for all your tanks. As in all business situations some employees are better than others, the more critical job gets the more proficient employee. The one tank out of 400 with AOV guppys that looks a little off gets a less experienced employee to work on it. The one with altums that looks like they may be pairing gets someone who really knows their stuff.

You have to ask; are we the AOV tank or the rarely bred species tank? I guess time will tell.

I guess it makes sense that the bigger the forum the bigger or more problems they will have.
