Pork is great! I mean...bacon, people, bacon! Some types of ham are decent but others are just plain awesome (capicola, anyone?). Let us also not forget the joys of sausage. And don't even get me started on barbecue! Pulled pork, ribs and wings would make for a heck of a lot better meal on Easter than the typical glazed ham, if you ask me.
It seems both our mother's follow that same turkey cooking recipe! Luckily they don't have access to our forum to read our disparaging comments on their cooking, LOL.
