I love meat. :D LOL not to offend any of the vegetarians out there.. but I like meat. Pork, steak, ham, bacon, Oh and RIBS are my favorite... Mmmmmmmm.

Darn now I'm hungry. :P

Hope it's okay for a very junior member to join in here--- when I'm not at my day job I'm principal soprano soloist at a major church in our area, so I'll be in church Easter Sunday morning & for a "festive coffee hour" afterwards. After that we play "Easter Bunny" for my husband's 63 yr old developmentally disabled sister, to whom we stand as guardians. Easter egg hunt, anyone?

my holidays are pretty saad and lonley these years. with 4 members died within the past 3 years of cancer its just very sad and not the same and never will be. i can't and don't look forward to holidays anymore

despite that i will go to my aunts house or my moms house and have a easter dinner with the 3 family member we have left

Haha, I'll admit, I like my meat too. I don't eat beef, just because, and I just don't like ham, but I LOVE bacon and ribs! I like deep fried chicken though, thats my all time fav <3

Kaisa, I certainly can understand your pain. I too have lost several family members in the past few years. Most recent was my mother last June. We were very close, both geographically & emotionally, in later years more like best friends than mother & daughter. For years we talked every day & saw each other nearly every week. She was with us for every holiday. These first holidays without her are tough. Our family is my husband, his sister, our adult son (temporarily at home) and me. Not that it helps, but I wanted you to know you are not alone.

I'm right there with you. I think the last pork product I ate was a hotdog at the ballpark when I was thirteen so that was 37 years ago. Pork is gross (to me anyway)

I don't think I'm going to be doing anything at all for Easter except for chilling with my fam and boyfriend. Hopefully lots of CANDY!!! I'm a chocoholic :D I mean, I don't diss Easter, I just think it's HIGHLY commercialized like Christmas and Valentines day and all the other "holidays" we have that just cause a big money fuss and stuff. Hopefully I'm not being a downer, I love Christmas and such, I just think it's all for the money now-a-days.
