Welp, I'm 52 and still doing roofing for a living. Let me get my cane while I try to remember stuff. Yep, when I started out, you youngons probably won't remember this but roofing trucks had wooden wheels. And also I had to carry the 80lbs bundles of shingles up the ladder by hand. I also used to hammer them dang nails in by the use of a hammer. Nowa days, I git them there shingles and I put them on a fanedangled machine they call a power ladder. I'm also too old to keep on pounding them there nails in so I got me one of them there auto matic hammers. If my feeble memory is correct, I think they call it a nail gun or something like that. Well I guess it's time for my Geritol. Good night folks.

Ain't like going down to the pond, cetching bluegills and tommy cats!

Subject: Larry LaPrise dead at 93

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

Wow...a lot of you, no offense, are much older than I had imagined, especially with me being 19...and I'll be 20 in March! If were speaking of mental ages, I'd reckon I'm...19! I still do all my teenage shenanigans, but going to college and being a supervisor for U.P.S. has made me feel years ahead of my same-aged friends.
