Then that means you & I took the exact same test

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

No, it's really not all that hard to construct a gun type nuke. I could probably build something in the 20 kiloton range you could move in a truck no problem. A more advanced implosion weapon is doable to, but I'd need a very well equipped machine shop. A gun type weapon is just easier, but lower yield.

1360 on my SATs
32 on my ACT

I should have studied for them.

Let's hope the CIA isn't cruising our forum; they'd put you on the "to be watched" list
Impressive scores. Very impressive.

Believe me, if I'm on a watch list it happened long ago.

I think what the Mayans predicted was the fall of the greatest civilization in 2012, not the end of the world. Lots of people make predictions, but the reason people believe the Mayans is because it is said that they accurately predicted the collapse of their own civilization. I don’t know about this prediction business, but personally I think we are on the right track.

A lot of it depends on how you interpret what the Mayans said. Officially its just the end of a cycle and another one will come. The Mayans believed there was a cycle before theirs and there would be one after theirs was over. The whole problem is that I don't recall seeing any hard evidence if they considered the end of a cycle the death of everything and the world's rebirth or if it was something else.

I'm not concerned about the Mayan date in the least. Just curious mostly.

I never took the ACT, but I got a 1570 SAT. But I'll tell you what, nothing's more of a downer than getting a high SAT score and then taking the (much more difficult) SAT II's and feeling only average.

Honestly, though, I think the SAT's are pretty inadequate for measuring learning potential. The verbal section, for example, is all a game of chance as to whether or not you've encountered those words.

I cant remember if I took the ACT or the SAT or what score I got. But I guess military has access to the results. I just remember that for 2 months after I had to deal with the military (mostly the Air Force) constantly trying to recruit me. They pulled me out of class a few times, they came to my job and interrupted me from work. One time two uniformed recruiters took me out of class and brought me into an empty room, my class mates must have thought I’d been arrested. I was seriously scared, I thought maybe one was going to pin me down and the other would give me a needle then next thing I know I’d wake up in an airplane with a parachute strapped to my back flying above Iraq. One time the recruiter lady called me un-American. I wish I had the nerve to complain to her superior back then.

My highschool had us take the military placement test. Supposedly the test results didn't go back to the military. Almost immediately after taking the test though I started to get phone calls and mail all the time trying to recruit me for every single branch.
