I eat fish, love all kinds and adore sushi. I saute, bake, broil, pan fry, etc. fish at least three times a week. Actually going out for sushi this Friday night. I have no problem eating farmed fish and actually feel guilty eating seafood wild caught. Considering that the world's oceans are forecasted to be completely fished out in the next forty years I feel like I'm doing a small part to not be part of why that is most likely going to happen. The ocean is my home away from home and I feel sad about how commercial fishing is going to decimate many species.

Oops. I forgot to add that I have fished but that was when I was much younger and living up in the Sierras and once on a trip to Idaho. I don't think it's weird to eat what you catch. The trout that can be caught out of North America's northern most rivers, lakes and streams are some of the best tasting fish ever, not too mention that it's pretty fun floating down a calm scenic river in a canoe. Never did master the art of fly fishing...

1077, you'd love these fishing holes, ever been??

PS. For Kitten: I used to smoke ciggys back then (YUCK) and all my friends always caught WAY more fish than I did. They said it was because when I baited the hook the fish could "smell" the cig on the worm, even when I washed them like crazy. Something to consider and a reason for quitting!! It's better for our fish!

Have fished for trout in Clorado but there just ain't no size to em. I like fish that pull back like Flathead catfish.
Have smoked those nasty cigarettes since I was thirteen ,and can't say as it ever hampered my fish catching abilities although I have had some painful burns from sparks that blow down the front of me shirt, or in my eyes during windy weather.
Kym,, I thought everybody knew you gotta spit on the worms first ,if you wanna catch them ol Bigun's.

Really? I didn't know that! I do know to always spit in my mask before diving (if I'm out of anti-fog gel) to keep my mask from fogging. There's just no end to the great uses for spit!
