While it is nicer than the cups, it seems like a bit of a bad idea as long as those walls are clear. The constant stress of being able to see other betta and not being able to escape seems unfortunate.

I thought WalMart was getting rid of their live pet section? I haven't seen fish in a WalMart for years now. Granted I did get my first betta there as well as one of my favorite koi, but I would never buy fish from WalMart now.

It's about time they did. Wait till thanksgiving or xmas, when I can afford to buy a severely sick dragon goby, then they rightfully pass on their fish to people who know what they're doing. If this is true, I need to buy a huge QT to house these liquidated fish, assuming wal-mart will have a giant corporate closing sale!!

From what i read in the description, it was completely reconsrtucted by a betta enthusiast employee. I was just telling my friend the other day, I would do the same if I got a job at walmart. I would request that I work specifically in the fish section, although that dream seems far-fetched :/
