If you're playing it at all that must mean you've got Steam. If you've got Steam, you absolutely MUST play the Half Life 2 Episodes. They expand on the gameplay in interesting ways but the story improves dramatically. That's saying a lot considering how good the story line in this series already was.

And about MechWarrior, I have played the board game but it's been a really long time. I agree about the auto-cannons in MW3 kind of cheapening the game a bit but the game itself was pretty phenomenal. The fourth game looked good but lacked the customization of 2 and 3 and the combat was just so slow. That's the biggest criticism of Chromehounds I've read as well. I like mechs and all, but I like them to play like a hybrid of a FPS and flight-sim rather than slow and plodding.

Yep, I have Steam and it has Lost Coast listed :D I'll give the Episodes a shot when I've finished playing the game - thanks for the tip!

The Force Unleashed was really disappointing, if you ask me. The games I'm most looking forward to are Fable 2, Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead. Fable 2 is an Xbox 360 only release as of right now, but it will probably get ported to the PC after a few months. Both Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead look to be game of the year contenders.

Thanks guys :) I'll probably get hammered for this, but I'm not really a great Star Wars fan. I've been really looking forward to Left 4 Dead.. last I heard it was being released for the PC in the UK at the end of November.

I watched some previews of it on YouTube last month and it looks awesome. Does it come out earlier in the US does anyone know?
