Its always been a battle between GW and WoW and I stand firm with GW. While I dont play for hours on end every day I do enjoy playing the game every now an again. I do agree with the games lag prob(pvp is not my thing really) but even so I stick firm for one obvious reason-I don't wanna pay $180 a year for a game that will cripple my life(with a 100%chance of anti-socialization and massive weight gain) and 2-The fact that the graphics(Thats the BIG one with most every game) don't have that cartoony look but take on a more realistic look.
But I don't wanna turn this chat into an MMORPG battlefield. They get UGLY and this ones headed down that dark road so if ur into WoW thats fine with me :D.....unless you wanna take this chat to the next level then ill be more than happy to take you on in death chat(as soon as the Admin gets the chance to add it to the chat menu :P )

I don't think its ever really been a battle between GW and WoW. GW has always been an annoying little dog nipping at the heels of WoW. The game has its charms and does well but its never been on WoW's level from a customer base stand point. WoW sort of came in and cleaned the MMORPG house out. It's going to be a while before anyone can touch it.

EVE, I totally agree with iambatman. I had a two week trial and by the end of it I had no problems not being able to play anymore. You wanna know the one thing that bugged me the most? I couldn't customize the paint on my ship. Silly maybe but flying around in a ship that looks like every other ship of the same class got old, FAST.

Right now I'm playing:
Counterstrike: Source
Sim City 4
Dawn of War: Soul Storm

I don't think there's been a time in my life since the original Sim City that I haven't had some version of that game loaded onto my computer.

I have cut out most Games i play and added some new ones.
Halo 3
ChromeHounds (best squad based game that you have never heard of)
Star Wars Empire At War

My Name On Xbox360 is Sniped You Ha for Star Wars right now its kinda secrete since i was one of the best to play the game but i pissed alot of people off in the process. Point is i no longer play ranked matches in that game because i broke the top 10 2 times and top 20 3-4 times and found it painfully easy to do so. All on different accounts.

I was a huge fan of MechWarrior 3 back in the day but I thought MechWarrior 4 and the MechAssault games were pretty terrible. I look at the Chromehounds box every time I'm in a store but I've read bad reviews and haven't bought it. However...it seems like a lot of reviewers have some pretty unwarranted hate for mech games in general.

my sujestion is rent it and try it there is about a 100+ hour learning curve. (How to build a good hound, how to use that hound, how to move on the maps and much more.) But from what i understand its suposed to be the best "Mech" game ever made.

Just last night one of the secrete weapons was brought out and me and my squad got a total of 3 goes at it.( i only got one but we had 2 groups and one got to go twice) Check this beast out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdgT9...eature=related

Since Mechwarrior 2 the mech games have always been a mix of greatness and awful. For instance Mech 3 had the most accurate (to the board game rules) mech lab and some great missions. If was to stupidly easy to win though by just using LB-10X autocannons to knock your enemies on their asses and online play was dominated by idiots who'd pack their shadowcats with 50 ERSLs or flamers.

Mech 4 looked great and had some interesting missions, it just had an annoying mechlab that prevented the online stupidity but severely limited what you could do with your mech.

Personally I enjoyed Mechassault 1 because I never treated it seriously and just played it like an arcade game. MA 2 wasn't too bad but I loathed the whole "mechjacking" concept.

Ever play the board game? The real one not the clicky one.

Well ChromeHounds does have an awully easy story mode. The only reason the game is good is the online play. You have a choice of playing humans or CPU controled mecks. But there is a catch they have to destroy you OR drop your base so alot of people dial bases with massive heavy gunner canons.
