I agree...I haven't played it yet but I've watched other people play, and Fallout 3 is probably the better game. Dead Space is good, don't get me wrong, but it pretty much boils down to a Resident Evil clone with a The Thing/Aliens vibe going on. If you ever played Oblivion, Fallout 3 runs on the same engine and looks and feels very similar, but of course takes place in the Fallout universe and has more gunplay.

I played the demo for Resident Evil 5 and it was ridiculously difficult. I'm not sure if you're meant to die or what, but that sequence was impossible to beat. I'm hoping in the actual game that part will be later on when you're stocked up on weapons and ammo or something. It felt exactly like Resident Evil 4 overall though, which is definitely a good thing.

I am quite the gamer compared to most in this thread it seems...

Fallout 3 is great, I enjoyed Oblivion too. I've built two PC's in the last day or so, and am at this moment setting up a LAN between them to play Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, a Greek-mythology-based RPG. I am level 55 (commander) in Call of Duty 4, and got there solely through LAN games (no lvl 55 crack or online play), and regularly go to Organised Chaos lan in Cape Town, South Africa. I am also a great fan of flight simulators such as Falcon 4.0: Allied Force. I can't wait for Diablo III and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Starcraft 2.

My PC is surrounded by my fish tanks, great concentration of my interests ^^

Titan Quest is awesome. I have two characters in their mid 50's but I haven't played in a while. The big shortcoming of that game is how much easier it gets on the "harder" difficulties, which made me lose interest. Oh well...it's probably the best Diablo clone I've ever played.

On a related note, I finally got Sacred 2 and found it incredibly tedious and boring. I guess I'm just going to have to wait for Diablo 3.

Kate, have you played Fallout 3 yet? I finally got around to playing that, as well. Awesome game. I'm torn about whether I like it or Oblivion more.

I haven't played yet Jim. After finishing RE5 several times over I moved on to Call of Duty (xBox360) and played them all (awesome)!. There wasn't a demo of Fallout 3 available so I held off buying it, but I've asked for it as a birthday pressie. I'll let you know what I think when I get it

Haha, fallout 3, you can even escape the intro and play the game as a baby. Truly one of the most open ended games on the market.

Deadspace, ive never played but watched others play it and that is one freaky game.

HAHA maplestory. I used to play that ALL the time and then i got to level 35 and i realized how repetitive it was. It's a great game if you can get a bunch of friends to play with you, cuz then its like living in a diffrent world since u can do whatever, explore, open shops, etc. However alone... its intimidating... Players on the game arent exactly nice to newbies.
