This is really going to help me. I could always picture in my mind what I wanted, but never had the ability to pull it off even with hand sketches. This basically lets you create the tank before you get your hands wet with objects to scale and actual accurate images. Even I can do a decent job with this tool. Thanks again, Romad !

it's still a neat program, but now I'm gonna critique it, cuz' I'm a jerk like that ;)

I wish they would let you change the height of things without increasing the width - or vice versa. Like some rocks that I have that are wide, but not tall, and some that are tall, but not wide. Same goes for plants. . .

I wish they would let you FLIP things - like driftwood, cuz' MINE is 'upside down' in my tank - branchy side down, other pieces are sideways. . . though they do have a decent selection of 'types' which is neat!

I can't 'attach' plants to rocks or driftwood - like Java ferns on top of rocks and such. . . kind of a bummer, since that's what you do with them! Unless I just didn't fool around with it enough to figure it out. In general, there is no height depth in the program - nothing can be placed on substrate HIGHER than another thing. Like in a tank that has the substrate sloped deeper in the back.

They need to add more plants. . .

But I'm just nit-picking! It's still a super fun program to play with, lol!!! I like it!

It fits my skill level pretty well. I wish there were more common names for the plants. I'm having fun with it.

It IS fun, lol! I'm just glad that such a program exists - you can still get a general idea of where you're going as far as tank layout with it. I agree - common names on the plants would be nice.

I created the coolest layout IMO. Like you said, there are things that could be better, but it really does give you a good framework to start.
