christmas Trees

anyone put their tree up yet, ?
i'm hoping for this weekend,it's not a real tree….
which do you prefer ?

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

shamefully..it's been up since before thanksgiving.... Our children ( two fsmilies, as we've both been married before) are all grown with children of their own... we host Thanksgiving each year and whoever can make it.. welll it's great... We go away for Christmas so we put the tree up early so the Grand children can see it... for this reason, we have an artificial... we carefully pack it away in a large rubber maid bin each year and bring it out early... I have planted two blue spruce in front of the house many years ago... at one time they were 5' high.. now they are approaching 20'.... I cut a few bows and place them in and around the tree... it looks and smells real.. I'll take pictures tonight...

I usually put up christmas after thansgiving, but haven't pulled it out of the attic yet. Since I got a new couch, I have to move some things around to get a place to put the tree, so that's why I havent been motivated yet. . I prefer fake - it's easy.

Mine goes up tommorrow(today). My youngest is 15 now so its not quite the same as when they were little. Hope to have it down shortly after newyears. Waiting for grandchildren so we can start the whole santa and elves thing again. I saw the receipt for a new 75 gal just like the one I wanted for xmass. I didn't know santa shopped at local fish store!!??

Welcome to our family room

I took a ton of pictures last night...none came out the way i wanted... i had the lights lit but no matter what setting I tried.. they didn't show well...I setteld for this one... I dont decorate( I'm told I do it all wrong)... I just install lights and move furniture...

I've included a picture of the blue sprce I planted at the top of our driveway... I dont decoarate it any more...I'm too old..and the tree is too big... I put it in the ground when my "baby" (first born) was 6.... he juts turned 37...

My son was a piece of cake when he was younger. The best things he got for Christmas was the big box that the gift came in or Two hours after opening gifts on Christmas day they're out in the yard playing with sticks. I could have save a ton of money that year if I just known he wanted sticks
