My christmas tree is hanging from the rear view mirror of my Pickup Truck. I bought it at the carwash for 75 cents.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

that's the spirit

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

We put up our tree last night! It's a 6 ft plus, Frasier Fur. I like a Douglas Fur but this one is nice. I usually struggle to get the tree up a few days before Christmas Eve but this time we are early, for us anyway.

Ain't like going down to the pond, cetching bluegills and tommy cats!

fake, but looks great neptune!

our real one is up, if i can grab a picture when theres some presents under it i will. i have heard using a small amount of sprite or 7 up in the trees water right after the trunk gets a fresh cut is good for it. i dont know how true this is, but a splash of sprite doesnt cost much. my father also takes a slice of every years tree trunk and will carve the year into it, or something along those lines and then we sign it. then the wood gets sealed and it becomes an ornament. something i remember doing since i remember christmas.

Before I had my cats I'd put some seven up and some asprin in the tree water. It was something my fourth grade teacher did. I figured it truly worked since that fourth grade tree went up before well before Christmas break and was still green and healthy when we came back to class in the new year.

What a great idea by your family as far as making ornaments from the tree's trunk. Clever. I bet Martha Stewart wishes she had thought of it.

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

In South Africa it is quite normal to have fake trees, you hardly ever find someone with a real trees for christmas in their house. Due to our climate and the fact that christmas is during our summer you just decorate the tree in the garden which normally are blooming this time of the year. Obviously you must have a fake tree in the house just for the presents cause Santa dont leave presents outside, they might just get stolen.
And Neptune your tree looks beautiful
