Check it out! My little buddy is back!

I heard a little bit of rustling of leaves on the back yard fence. I went to check it out, along with my dogs in tow. Ah ha! My little buddy was back. To my dogs credit, they saw him, but when I called all three of them to go back into the house they actually listened and trotted back in. This is the first time they haven't tried to go after the little guy.

Here's a shot of his mug, I can't believe how close he allows me to get to him. I think he remembers me saving him from the jaws of my dog? Maybe?? Not likely but I like to think so.
Isn't he cute??

Looks like you have a friend for life. :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

One of these little rodent's dropped down out of a tree and into the boat one night while fishing in the river .Don't know who was more startled, but I nearly capsized the boat in an effort to get away from the hissing little *&#$%@!!

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

I would have ended up in the water! So what happened? Did the possum end up in the water (courtesy of your oar) or did you row safely to shore and he disembarked on his own accord?? (I'm betting on the former, lol)

@Grimmjow- no, I will not be attempting hand feeding. I'm stupid, but not that stupid! Have you seen the teeth on those critters??? Yikes.

It ended up in the water courtesy of a well placed foot under his little belley.Had a notion of trying to grab it by the tail, but he wasn't havin any of it.

Id totally try to feed it. I almost got to feed a squirrel doritos once, but it ran up in the tree and started yelling at me so I left it.

Our dogs got one once and we saved it, but it was injured so we put it in a big box to wait for animal control.

It would run around and around in the box, but when we opened it to look, he would drop dead flat, eyes open! It was priceless. We closed the box and he got up and round and round he went, then we opened it again and dead he went.

Its a trip to see the eyes open, and rolling around! So they DO play dead! He is cute Kym! You simply must name him. Did you know that 8 newborn opossums can fit in a teaspoon?

Interesting. And I thought they're bigger than the newborn dwarf hamsters.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.
