Cats and Aquarium Water. o_O

I've got a bit of an odd question. I have a 1 gal bowl out that I was using to help do water changes ... I've kept a bit of water treated with Tetra AquaSafe in it, and i've found that my cats absolutely cannot live without that water.

Seriously, I don't know why. The ones that can get up there are constantly dipping their paws into it and licking the water off. I give them Brita filtered water (because I wouldn't drink the tap water without it, and I wouldn't expect them to either), but they keep trying to get the fish-water.

I took the bowl away and then they started actually slipping into and drinking from the 10 gal that I have my betta and dwarf frogs in. o_O They're not going after the fish at all, they just really ... like the water. I dunno.

It's kinda funny, I was just curious if anyone else's animals did this ... and do you know if it's safe? There's no warnings on the bottle but I just wanted to make sure.

I didn't know where the heck to put this.

It's safe as long as you are not using meds that are carcinogenic such as malachite green and formalin. My dogs even drink in ponds.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

Oh good. That's a relief. And nah, no meds at all in that tank/bowl. Just the primer. (:

I don't know what's so special about it but they love it.

My cat Fae does that with the toilet...it completely grosses me out. I figure she will basically just dip her paw in, and drink, ANY water but the water in her bowl. Or maybe you cats do becuase it just has a nice fishy flavor. lol.

Though a cat i might be, i am not here to order...this i swear

Make sure you don't use any cleaners in there, could make her sick

We keep the seat down more often than not. And it is always down after being cleaned. We don't have one of those automatic toilet bowl cleaners in there for that exact reason.
