Lightbulb Bug ID

What type of bug this is? I liked the little guy, but I found him dying on my moms car (he's dead).. But the species interests me. Any ideas?

they look like the little things i get over here too.
i like them,i think they're pretty.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
