A bit bummed....

So, my family and I had planned this trip to Maryland to check out Washington DC and some other stuff nearby (we hardly ever go to the east coast. We usually go down towards California and Arizona.). We've had this planned for months and frankly I was really excited to go. Especially since now that I have my license my parents might have let me drive some on the way to Maryland.
However, last week I ended up getting sick with (this what we believe, haven't been diagnosed by a doctor so don't hold me to it) both Laryngitis and Bronchitis. Both of which stemmed from a cold. And now it seems to have spread. My dad and two brothers all have colds now (really hoping theirs doesn't develop into laryngitis of bronchitis). Now we aren't going to go on our trip. Needless to say I'm a bit upset.

Take it easy!! I hope you feel better soon. I'm sorry you missed out on the trip. I hate when that happens. Sorry it turned into a "staycation".

Yeah. Oh well. Guess we'll have to go out to Maryland some other time. My mom and I are probably just going to drive around the state going to different zoos and aquariums so that will be fun. Not as cool as going to D.C or anything but it'll be fun to hang out just my mom and me. (especially since I'll pretty much get to choose where we go :)

that's a shame
we seem to have the same sort of thing over here in England.
people dropping like flies.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

That stinks :( Sorry that you had to cancel your trip but it sounds like a good opportunity for you and Mom to have unplanned adventures.

Hope everyone feels better soon.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Thanks :) One upside is I won't have to worry about anyone else feeding my fish.
