Which is better?

Been looking at getting satellite radio for my new car, but was wondering which is better? XM or Sirius? Anyone have experience with either or both? I've been leaning towards XM, but would like other input first before making any decisions.

Most of the music I listen to isn't played on either, so I didn't go with either. However I did read an interesting article (don't have the link anymore) about how the two aren't doing overly good financially as more and more people are getting into MP3 players in their cars and they are roped into huge contracts with expensive talent (Howard Stern got half a billion).

True, but a lot of the new radios have MP3 built in, where you can do your own music or record off the satellite and replay features.

As for cost, they are very similar in pricing. But with Sirius, you can get the $499.99 lifetime subscription, and and never have another monthly payment. This also includes 3 upgrades, if you upgrade the radio hardware. So it's like paying for 3.2 years, and getting the rest for free the rest of your life.
