That's awesome!!, we are cat people in my house. Our orange cat used to fall asleep against the tank when she was a kitten, but not anymore...come to think of it she almost ate my RTS about a month ago, when i was redoing my tank. So i'm going to go with i've never seen a cat and fish buddy system before now...lol

Why did you name your cat that?
I named mine that because she prances around a lot and it looks as though she's on her tip toes x3 Plus, she's just a quirky one anyways since she's imbalanced in her brain, so she walks in circles a lot.

As for best friends, Tippy and her brother, Smokey and super sweet to each other. Tippy will start out all motherly and clean his face for him...then he'll return the favour and wash her back...and he he'll get too rough like he always does and it'll end in a fight, lol.
