Bad Weather

So...there's been a horrible ice storm in my area all day. No biggy, we were just renting a movie and hanging in, planning a nice boring night. All of a sudden our HUGE tree in the backyard started coming down. The weight of the ice plus the old tree equals disaster. So the tree fell...on my house. I am at a hotel now, everybody is safe, but I gotta meet my landlord there first thing tomorrow morning. It's awful! Anyways, I just wanted to vent. I'll probably take pictures if I can, but yeah...didn't plan on this action packed night!

Wow! not good :( We didn't get an ice storm like that, but temperatures with the windchill have been colder than minus 27 celcius for over a week:( So cold it takes your breath away when you're outside for more than 3 minutes; so cold your skin hurts when you go outside. Why do I live here???

You know what the definition of hobby is: something of interest that is going to cost you lots of money!
