True this. And football and hockey. That's all I need from tv. Cops I don't need. Haven't watched in a few years.

Well, there isn't a single show on TV that I watch "on time." Cops is pretty much on 24/7 on some channel or other so if I'm just grabbing a quick bite to eat or something, Cops is a good option (although it usually comes second to checking on the Science Channel; How It's Made is the greatest thing ever).

I watch "real" shows (Lost, Dexter, The Office, stuff like that) in big chunks after the seasons end. No commercials = hooray!

I haven't seen a commercial in years thanks to Tivo. :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

HBO True blood is great. Hung is funny as heck. I recently got in to The Tudors on Showtime. They are replaying the first couple of seasons. Not sure why I like it so much but I do.

Men of a Certain Age. Best new show in years.

By the way, I count down the days until True Blood starts its new season!

I've only seen one episode of True Blood but it was too campy for my tastes. I think I'd enjoy a campy vampire movie or the occasional campy episode of a more serious show (X-Files were great at doing exactly that) but not a whole series in that vein.

I'll have to check out Men of a Certain Age.

Jim- do you remember the X Files episode where there were half men/half "pigs"" living under the floorboards of a house? Talk about camp, lol.

Like Pasfur, I'm counting down the days for True Bloods new season. It's the only reason I subscribe to HBO, lol.

I'll have to check out Men Of A Certain Age; I've heard nothing but good things about it and I like the guys who star in it.

The Tudors? Awesome "time period" series. I feel like I'm "back in the day". Well casted show.

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

I love that time period. I don't know why I am attracted to that type of setting. Sometimes I almost feel like I used to be a warrior a long long time ago. An now I'm reincarnated into this. Some dude on a fish forum

Wow was that messed up or what LOL

Haha, no I don't remember that one. I only started watching the show around season 5 or so when it was first airing. I watched seasons 1-4 last summer and I've been watching it again (nearing the end of season 6) so that episode must come later. Sounds pretty great though. One of my favorite "campy" X-Files episodes is the vampire one where the vampires don't actually have fangs and just sort of gnaw on people, haha.

Anyone else watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia? Pretty much the lowest-brow humor possible but really, really funny.
