I *much* prefer UK weather to Maryland weather. It's really not all that different, except it gets much hotter in Maryland in the summer and gets all gross and humid. My ideal climate is probably the Pacific Northwest or Vermont or something.

I've never been to London....perhaps a vacation house trade? I'll feed your fish if you feed mine...

ehh. i lived in CA for a year and a half. i was not very fond. redlands if your wondering. all there is out there is hot weather. sand. and a nice view of mountains in the distance. i guess i would be content living on one of the mountains.

and BTW, your clothes look "nice" but do they keep ya warm? i have a nice snowboarding jacket and thats all i need, theres no "heavy clothes" that you speak of

Yuck, living in Redlands would be like living in downtown Newark or Barstow. I don't consider Redlands Southern California at all. Down our way we have ocean breezes & palm tress. All Redlands has is hot dusty air & weeds! I'm sorry you had to live there! Hopefully you don't live in Newark.....

As far as my "warm" clothes, it's all ski & snowboarding stuff, not really heavy at all. I suppose I've just become too accustomed to living in shorts & a tank top! I'll be making a trip up to Mammoth soon (as soon as there is more snow!) so I'll have to start dusting off some of my winter clothes.
I hope you'll be getting in some boarding this winter so you can use that jacket!

I've been to NJ and I loved it, just don't love Newark. The Newark airport and surrounding hotels were not the best. Those guidos amuse me to no end! Ya gotta love that accent, those gold chains and all that bravado goin on. Also, I had some FANTASTIC pizza in NJ.

That's great that you made it thru rehab. That couldn't have been easy. I tip my hat to you!

I'm so glad you're going boarding. Whoo Hoo! If you're really sweet to her I'm sure she'll let you take a few runs without her. Don't feel bad about only having weekends off, neither do I. I'm sure that's true for most of us. Either way you're going to have a great time!!
