Yeah they have one like yours at a lfs, but I checked my water and it's not cycled yet. I did a 5g water change as recommended by lfs.

Yes. It all depends on how deep your bed is, that will determine if its a bad gas or not. If the sand bed is around 4", thats on the close range for a Deep Sand Bed, and can release Hydrogen Sulphide. If you smell rotten eggs coming from your tank, you have the bad gas. If not, then its the normal type.

Tank has no bad odor, I put 20# of livesand in my tank. About a 1" sandbed. I have had no diatom bloom yet either

I really like this anemone for the black/white clown i am planning to get. I wish I was already established so I could get this.

Drs. Foster and Smith Diver's Den - Macrodactyla cf. doreensis

Thats goin on my wishlist!

Is it bad that I haven't had a Diatom Bloom? Also since I have hermits and snails does that mean that they are effecting the Diatom?

WOW, very nice choice. And some people do not get diatom blooms. Its not a bad thing.

I wish I could get it, but my tank probably wouldn't be a good home at this point... Maybe I'll order it to my brothers house since his tank is established an I'll get it after my tank is ready

Well, I ordered the anemone! It will be a while before I can add him but I'm very excited regardless
