Aiptasia

I used the lemon juice method on the aiptasia in my tank today. How long should it take for them to die??

aptasia

the lemon juice method only works if you are very precise....almost surgical...get a pipet with a very small nozzle and be very carefull not to alarm the aptasia to your presence ...if you do it will retract before you are able to inject the juice..be sure to get it inside its oral cavity to be effective...and try not to get any excess in the water...the acids can react with your water chemistry...

Today I noticed that the 2 that I actually put the needle into the base are gone. The other 2 are still there. Should I do the same with them then?

nice

chromis viridis.i love green chromis..i only have one left but they are awesome..from my experience they are not finiky feeders and have proven rather hardy in well established systems...and being reef safe makes them that much more cooler....
