| | Nanocube 28g overflow/fuge
Well I decided to try adding a 5g fuge under the 28g nanocube stand. I got one of the marineland 5g kits with the led lights to drop under the stand. I don't really care if the fuge is setup as a sump/fuge combo as I already have the skimmer and heater setup on the built in sump area behind the nc. What is the best way to safely plumb the marineland to the nanocube? I've looked at the CPR CS50 overflow to keep the siphon running to the fuge but wouldn't 300gph be too much water turnover for a 5g fuge? Also I'm unsure about what powerhead to pick up for the return line any suggestions. Again sump filters aren't the primary reason for the fuge, I more want a place to grow some macro and pods without predation since I would like to try my hand with one of the ORA mandarins after the tank is established better and want a nice breeding pod population that he won't chew through between prepped meals.
Thanks in advance.
