just did a water change. still no sign of the goby. can't figure it out, for the life of me. before i started, i tested. ammonia 0, trites 0, trates 20. if he died, he didn't decompose!

If he died, what do you have in the tank CUC wise? These guys are there for a reason, they will dispose of a body quickly.

i have a half dozen small hermits and a couple of snails. maybe that's what happened!
