Yay my old BC thread! Hmm, now that I read over this I was so green when I first started reefkeeping.

I suggest you completely remove all water, scrub the tank, and start from scratch. It will be easier in the long run and will save you any water problems in the future.

My tank is a 10g now btw, I upgraded from the AIO BC8. I don't regret buying the BC system though, it really did lay the foundation for me and provide a sandbox to test my reefkeeping abilities.

Theeeeeeeen within two months I moved on.
