- lol i know what you talking about , i am very addicted too. Tail biters are difficult. I had one but he didn't do it too often. Basically keep water super clean to prevent infections. I don't know ,if nothing helps, toys, plants , i even had the toy outside of his tank, i even had the extra suction cups and extra thermometers in his tank, some times different lighting may help, so may be change the location of the tank. And one more advice keep separate equipment for all 3 bettas never share contaminate anything between them or at least if you ever see any symptoms on any of them. Good luck!!! I hope you figure out how to stop him from biting , let me know tips so i can share with other owners.
- Hi! Thank you!
Sorry it took me so long to respond- I just saw this!
I had to put Digger in a small tank. He started glass surfing and biting his tail in the big tank...His fins start growing back, then he bites again, lets them regrow a bit, then bites again. I'm trying to figure out what it's going to take to get him to stop. Any suggestions are welcome! Mommy's little monster!
I'm good on the water change/filter stuff. I've been reading nonstop since I got Digger...and now I have two more. The betta bug has bitten me.
