Oh, I'm leaving at 5:30 on Monday to go pick up Merlin! =D
Pick up times are between 7&8 pm Monday. So late Monday night I'll have up picks. I gotta find something to keep him in, because he won't be able to go in the 10 gallon till Wednesday. I'm keeping the goldfish in the tank for a week to see how it does. I'm hoping that ammonia neutralizer works. I'm gonna try to get some ammonia test strips. Anywho, just wanted to let you know that I will have Merlin monday night.

So far, so good. They seem fine, if not a bit more energetic. Blue is just enjoying the heck out of life lol. He's got a bubblenest and he's all over the tank. =D Fishy seems happier, he was starting to not come up to me and now he is. So I'm hoping it's fine.
I got the goldfish today, I found out I love fish, lol. I'm hoping the goldfish doesn't die. He's a cutie.

Thank you. I'm going to use it. But if anything looks bad, I'll stop and clean out the tank. I just need something to try. I want them better and the closest pet store is 20 minutes away, and I have no way there. So here goes. But I'll keep close eye on them.

Hey! Have you used Melafix? I've seen some really good reviews, but heard bad stuff on here.
It says 1 tsp per 10 gal, so I should use like 1/10 for a one gallon? Then 3/10 for the bigger bowl? I don't want to use quite the recommend dosage, just in case. I just need them to get better. Should I just add a couple drops??

Cool. Might take longer than a day for him to get rid of it I think..he probably has had it awhile,I just didnt notice. It says they get when stressed or sick already, particularly if the water temp gets too low. Well thats in a nutshell. The ends of his tail fins are turning black a bit,is that good or bad?? i hope his fin rot isnt getting worse...but i did just start his meds,so maybe itll stop that.

Aww poor oscar. The parasite stuff says should fix up in 24 hours,if not dose again. Um. okay. The bacterial meds say 5 days of dosing. So I guess wait and see if he gets better, else dose him for another 5 days. I am keeping his tank covered,as it says to do that with parasites. His tank is nice and warm too. Hope it helps.

Hey! Well I dosed Elvis with his meds and the aquarisol. He still looks dusty,so I guess it will take a little longer. He seems more active though. So thats good. Morado is still swollen. Maybe a few more days of no food will help. After that,I did get frozen daphnia and peas. So Ill try them. My new girl looks swollen ,so shes on a fast too. LOL. How are your bettas doing?
