So true about the beach, lol. Each mountain range is unique :)

Colorado is one of the most beautiful places in the world, as far as I'm concerned. People around here love the beach and Florida. Well, I don't mean to insult people who live in Florida but if you've seen one beach, you've seen them all. lol

I can't live without the mountains. I want to move to a different state but It'll have to have mountains (I'm thinking Washington, I LOVE it up there) but no where can be as beautiful as it is here :)

It is so beautiful up there. I miss the mountains so much. When I flew into Colorado Springs 8 years ago, I had been away from Colorado for 6 years and when I first saw the mountains from the plane before landing, I cried because I missed them so much and they were so beautiful.

Ya Mt Meeker is my second favorite mountain (Evans being the first). It's so beautiful, I snuck out of the tent a few times at night just to see the forset (I like walking at night, wierd because in the day I trip all the time and at night I can run in the forset without falling, maybe I AM a vampire LOL). We slept outside once and the stars were just AMAZING.

We hiked up to a viewpoint and below us was a valley and right across the valley was Mt Meeker and Longs Peak. I loved it and I'll never forget it.

Ya at the base of Meeker is St Malo retreat center. A few miles a way we hiked Twin Sisters. Great view of Meeker :) .

I'm sorry about your fish! :( I went camping years ago near Longs Peak and Mt Meeker. We were near Allens Park. It was BEAUTIFUL up there. I went there on a school trip.
