scoobie i just realized you have another betta. Make sure you do not cross-contaminate anything between them. I hope your other betta is doing good. Please give us an update.

scoobie i ask Sakura to help you. I am finding conflicting information on the medication that you using. I was thinking to recommend another medication for the treatment. Not sure if you can go to the store and exchange it? Lets wait for Sakura's opinion. It would be easier if you could make a new thread so we can talk there.
Also what are those white specs you talking about? Are those on his body or in the water?
Can you make a thread so both of us and Sakura can talk there?
Meanwhile if you think he is a little better behaviorwise or his appearance continue with medications. Just make sure its not expired and do not overdose.
Please keep me informed. Do daily water changes even with medications. Just redose the required dose after each water change. And how i understand you do not using a filter , am i right?

scoobie if you still using ES you need to use full dose. If he is getting worse you really need medications. If you can not buy medications then use full dose of the salt which is 3 tsp/gall with daily water changes.

Is there any way you can keep him in a smaller tank that you can maintain a stable temperature? Usually with problem like that its better to keep them in low water level with less water movements. I don't remember how big is the tank?
How much water changes you been doing?
How many pellets you give him at once?
Do not give him dried blood worms. Did you ever tried frozen blood worms?
Is he pooping regularly? Did you see his poo at all? Make sure its not white , stringy to rule out internal infection.
