Some more lurking. I see. :D Time to join in more forums to be smarter! haha

No, hornwort? I really liked it, pine trees in the aquaria. lol That's okay, I'll get water wisteria then! (x Crypts are those patches of plantyness right? I will buy the light then! So the list: Java moss, ancharis, crypt, anubias, and maybe duckweed if it's there. Phew, that's probably a small amount for you! I have 2 tanks, so that seems plentiful. T.T

But the most I see on the internet about cycling is, "You need to do this or else your fish will die!" and "Blah blah blah!". -.- People need some therapy. lol

I don't really have a green thumb, and in yours or Mar's thread I said even my moss balls are turning into ovals. Naturally! And I think I'll be getting hornwort, some more anarachis, java moss, and maybe anubias. To be honest, is the clamp light even worth for the plants I'm going to buy? xD I just love all the low lighted ones. My parents gave me $20 for 'useless not necessary plants' to make me satisfied. haha I don't think they'll pay for more. lol

Did I mention on how much you know saves me so much time?? xD So the nitrite and nitrate won't stall the cycle, nice! Closer to getting that new fish. I guess the filter will do everything now; I just need to wait to add more ammonia. I guess I'll buy some plants or something! And maybe more shrimp. They'll love feeding on the filter. x)

Where do you learn all this? :o Knowledge is certainly power.

Won't the high nitrite stall the cycle? And the ammonia is fine, it's at 1ppm-2ppm. I'll wait until it goes around .50ppm or so; I don't want the nitrites even higher. Since this is day 2 of the nitrites, I think the nitrates will start to show up early-mid next week or so.

Okay, good. (: Also, the nitrites burst up high today! It's now 3ppm-5ppm. The test kit chart's look exactly the same with the nitrites. How am I supposed to tell? The BB will probably start to die off soon. :/

I know! :D And... I'm breaking a promise here... When I 'clamp' the clamp light on the tank, isn't the metal part that hangs it up going to touch the water? (sorry, I still have many questions along the way!!)

Hi there. lol My nitrites showed up today around .25ppm-.50ppm. Ohhhhh, yeahhh!! xD I hope the heat, darkness, and ammonia will keep the BB happy. /(^.^)/

Yesss. (: Can you check my thread on the bulb I need for the 3.5? I'm planning on anarachis and mine really like some light. I swear, this is the last question!

I did.. It just won't agree with me.
I tested it. It's still at 4ppm. I never knew this could be so boring! It went by so fast with my 20G.
