So many dogs on the street and no one can help. Now i have a fb friend who has 3 dogs and one is pregnant no where to go. They all outside we can't find foster or adopter . Appreciate you rescue Did you rescue or did you buy at the store? Do you know about puppy mills? I never knew about puppy mills until adopted my doggy from the shelter. I still have bettas too:) And Have a Happy Healthy New Year to you and to your family , and of course to your furry friend!

OMG You adopted a puppy?! I almost cried when i read it . What kind is your puppy? I am on fb for the past year all about dogs sharing So many of them get tortured, abandoned , put down daily in the shelters. So many abandoned mama and puppies . The shelter just put mama down after she gave birth to her puppies , and they didn't even give her her pups to smell or feed. I cry every day. My life completely changed since i am on fb I never realized what is going on with those poor dogs Every country has so many of them. A lot of people torture them I saw shelters in Romania horrible heartbreaking .

I troll all the betta fish sites to gather as much information and Opinions that I can and I really have a much more positive outlook on humanity as a whole. No other group of people have I experienced the willingness to help a complete stranger. And the level of Care I mean truly care , messaging me as to how things are out of the blue. And when I do have a problem the supports been amazing. I mean the time and knowledge beta owners display is remarkable.
I have been an owner 2 yrs now from getting bettas out of pecto. Doom to ordering off AB and paying more then id like to admit :). Point being I know the basics. Eg. Water conditions, water temp., cleaning a bowl (no filter) to a filtered 5 gallon, the proper amount of plants, types off plants (NEVER BUY PLASTIC ONES) so if anyone ever needs help please ask I'm more the n happy to help and if I can't I will do my best to get you in contact with someone who will help you

    Many Thanks

one more tip that i got from someone. Someone mentioned putting shiny objects next to the tank. Someone put glitter paper bright photos, just anything bright and colorful close to where he can see it and it makes him busy. Also read mess in my visitor mess from sing right above you

Awww you so nice thank you! Glad they are doing good. I also had one of my betta bitter but he did't do it often. I did put silk plants, a few thermometers , a toy outside of the tank just to distract him. If you might have light in the tank make sure its not the problem. Otherwise just keep the water extra clean to prevent an infection. Floating plants silk or live recommended. One tip if you ever buy live plant or other fishy always quarantine it ALWAYS because it can bring ich. Good luck , thank you for an update!!!!

So sorry to hear about your fish! There are quite a few breeders I can recommend....just depends what type of betta you would like to buy and how much you're willing to spend. Fish from Aquabid are amazing, but it can be very costly if you're just importing one. One member of this forum, Chard56, also sells on Aquabid and that would be a much cheaper option if you are in the U.S. (I can't buy from him since he can't export to Canada). If I were you, I would check out some of the fish on Aquabid and see what you like.....then you could let me know if there's a fish you're interested in and I'll let you know if it's from a breeder I would recommend or not. (some breeders I like are 3dbetta, FarmFish66, Patsayawan, Sirinutfarms, Aquastar71, Greatbetta, Elegantbetta....I've bought from all of these and had good experiences). Good luck!
