So I'm ok since I know I have burmese zebra loaches going in there right? This snail is pretty common?

Hi there,
I found a snail in my newly established, planted 55g tank. My tank has only been up for a month and this beautiful, black snail with gold dots on the shell is already 1.5cm in length.
Can snails grow that fast? I didn't see it come in on a plant..

If you are able to help, that would be great. Thanks :)

I would love to chat, lol if we were ever online at the same time :P I just started a new job and I pretty much have no life. But I don't mind because no life = lots of nice fish tank stuff ;) Wow I've never even heard of those snails, and I didn't have much luck googling them. Are they plant friendly?
