- Of all the snails I mentioned, only the brigs, nerites and assassins are plant friendly. The rest are voracious plant eaters. Read Donya Quick's article on Pomacea insularum found around the site. Insularums are the largest snails on record minus the Pomacea maculata whose existence has yet to be proven. Insularums leave bite marks so if I have these,I'm not touching them. They tend to be a little violent.
- I would love to chat, lol if we were ever online at the same time :P I just started a new job and I pretty much have no life. But I don't mind because no life = lots of nice fish tank stuff ;) Wow I've never even heard of those snails, and I didn't have much luck googling them. Are they plant friendly?
- Hi Little Fizz! LOL...I am always around, just not here much.:P I'm fine. I'm raising dozens of Pomacea canaliculata and about to have Pomacea bridgesii. Still looking for other species such as Pomacea insularum, Pomacea cuprina, Pomacea haustrum, nerites and assassin snails. They're fun to have.
