my filter used to push my betta around everywhere i fixed it by putting Airline Tubing on the filter nozzle and leading that down to the bottom of the tank into a plant, it doesn't look that great but does the job

there's a photo of it in my album

if your filter has a nozzle you could give that a try:)

Hm... I'm not sure, really. She still hasn't really colored up at all, but her anal and caudal fins are red. More like a maroon red. Her dorsal fin is blue, like my Patriot, and the rest of her body is like... brown. She confuses me greatly.

That picture I have of her when I took it with the camera flash on, she definitely does look like a black orchid though! But under the desk lamp and natural lighting, she looks like what I said above. :(

Hi, I'm not very good at judging the form of splendens very well since I don't show/breed them.

However, based on my noobish opinion, I don't think her anal is too long. I am not liking the branching/rough edge of her caudal fin though. I do however like the size of her dorsal fin and her overall body shape. I wouldn't kick her out of one of my tanks but not sure if she is spawning worthy.

Well, I'm in Canada, so I would sell but shipping to America is very hard and expensive. I do breed a bit, but I haven't for a while so I am not currently selling and last time I bred the spawn failed. I am actually doing a spawn this weekend, but I do not know if it will work. Hopefully! So the answer to your question is no, I do not have any whites available (white is a color I would eventually like to work with.)
