    Now, with the water changes, is that 50% a day or 50% a week? ^^;
    And I posted the updated photo on my thread in the Planted Tanks forum!

    Yea, just let hornwort float freely(it startsvlosing bristles if you resrtict it and makes a mess).

    As for water changes, 50% for 1-2 weeks untill plant growth starts. Then 25-50% a week untill he cycle completes(which takes about 3 months) and then you should be doing 50% water changes Monthly...and lowering the amount to how you see fit.

    You should have to trim the stem plants( and the hornwort) weekly...thats how you know that you have healthy growing plants. :)

    When you get the new plants, i wanna see! :D

    Thank you! And yes, I do need more stem pants~ I switched out the white ribbon plants with Jungle Val and some Hornwort (I can just let that float, right?) and I'm intending to get more plants! XD

    I have a quandry about switching out tank water and stuff- since it's just cycling, should I dechlorinate the water or no? I'd like to get the cycle up and running as soon as possible, but not to the detriment of any of the plants!

    Lol i just saw the post you made yesterday, it looks beautiful!

    ...but yu do need more stem plants like Hygro, Cabomba, Ambulia, Wisteria, or Naja Grass. These are the ones i used, there are others out there. But i'd say at least 2-3 more stems and 1-2 floating (like hornwort, duckweed, water letuce, and butterfly fern).

    The cloudiness goes away with time, gonna have to make 50% water changes weekly until you see steady plant growth.

    But! It is still lookin lovely.
