ok yea that a good idea, only 4 tanks huh hehe :) at the moment i have about 25 spawns of bettas, was over 30 spawns but some got eaten back by the fathers lost a few to the fathers geting ick so the othe 25 spawns r doing ok for now some spawns only have as little as 4 fish to 100s of babys so i'm trying not to be picky with them

Not looking too hard yet. Im enjoying only having four tanks to maintain. It's a lot of trouble to set-up my 10g. I'll get around to it someday. I'm especially looking for a blue and green version like the one in my album.

I looked around. They all seem to come from distributors online. No Aquabid, no breeders. I'm not sure where to start looking. I can't find pics of P-fish for sale. No prices mentioned, either. But, I'm in no rush.

Well, not as much variety as Betta, sure. But plenty of color and tail choices. I just don't know where to get them easily. Not on Aquabid. Maybe Ebay? When I get serious, I'll get a 20long and find one somewhere, I guess.

Yeah, I heard Gourami were smart. The thing I like most about Betta is there personality and intelligence, and the way they relate to people, more than their looks. If Paradise fish are like that, I'll be happy to get one.

Yeah, cool. Love to have you on my "friends list.:

I'd like to talk to you more about Paradise fish.

I like Betta, but they're so small and my eyesight is getting old. I had a giant Betta once, but his digestion was finicky. He got terminal SBD...died in a day. I heard that Paradise fish (Guorami) are like big mean Betta that also relate to people or have an interest outside of the tank. Also heard they're easy to keep. And they're larger and obviously beautiful. I don't understand why they're not more popular. They used to be.
